Obituary for Glenn Wadsworth
Glenn Wadsworth, of Galt, passed away on June 11, 2017, at the age of 68. Glenn was born on September 21, 1948, in Los Angeles, California to Joe and Delores (McDonald) Wadsworth. He retired as an IT Tech for Raleys after working there for 18 years. He also served in the United States Navy from 1968 to1979. Glenn was a member of Horizon Community Church in Galt. He loved his family, especially all the grandkids. He sailed Hobie Cats for many years. Glenn’s love was Harleys. This was his passion. He, at one time, had a motorcycle ministry. He went on many toy runs. He had a heart for the homeless. On many occasions he would take them sleeping bags, coats, food; whatever was needed. He would go and feed the homeless under the bridge in Stockton. He loved sharing his love of the Lord and sharing his experiences with them. He will be missed by so many. Glenn is survived by his wife, Jeanell M. Wadsworth; mother, Delores Sawyer; sister, Jodee (Dale) Himebaugh; daughter, Debby (Grant) Higgins; sons, David Wadsworth and Dan (Kori) Wadsworth; grandsons, Grant Higgins, Jr., Travis Higgins, Ryan and Blake Wadsworth; and great-granddaughter, Mackynzie Higgins; sons, Michael (Kelly) Keleher and Brett Keleher; grandson, Lucas Keleher; and granddaughters, Ava Keleher and Cadence Keleher. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Wadsworth and grandparents. A Memorial Service Celebrating Glenn’s Life will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Horizon Community Church in Galt with Pastor Tim Stephenson officiating. Committal will be private.
