Obituary for David Vietmeier

David Charles Vietmeier
Passed away Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 at the age of 75. David was in banking for 47 years and 34 of those years was spent in Lodi, San Andreas and the Rio Vista area. He was a long time member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Lodi, David enjoyed Dixieland and Jazz music. He played piano for his own enjoyment and he played and taught the drums in high school and college. David was a member of the Lions Club and was co chairman of the Field and Fair day at the Hutchins Street Square. Survived by his lovely wife of 54 years, Barbara, his son, Michael Vietmeier of San Francisco, his daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Vietmeier and Mark Duncan of Las Vegas, his daughter Tracy Vietmeier and her husband Nick Foote of Las Vegas, his sister, Christine Vietmeier McDonaldand her husband Marvin, and his granddaughter, Madeleine Vietmeier. Friends are invited to a Celebration of David's Life where you can come and share your favorite story of David at the First United Methodist Church, Saturday, August 12th at 2pm. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Hospice of San Joaquin County or Animal Friends Connection in David's name.
