Obituary of Jacqueline Faye Gribaudo

Jacqueline Faye Gribaudo, 80, of Lodi, California formerly of Yuma, Arizona, died on January 1, 2021. Born December 16, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana, predeceased by her parents, Henry and Everette Elizabeth Hefner, and her late husband of 48 years, Carl Donald Gribaudo Jr. Our mother’s story is a love story. Her love for her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Her belief in a better world where love would prevail. Her care and love for this country, and all of humanity. Her love for her caregivers at her nursing home that she called her friends. She prayed for people to be kind and compassionate to one another and themselves. Jackie would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call from God above for a divine appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a celebratory reunion with her loved ones, family, and friends. May she now dance with the angels in heaven as she’s welcomed back home. Survivors include her two daughters, Julie Ann Chavez (CA) Michele Gribaudo Jiménez (CA) and five sons, Frank Chavez III (CA), Daniel Chavez (CA), Christopher Chavez (AZ), Michael Chavez Sumner (FL), and Brian Gribaudo and seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and her daughter-in-laws, Maya Gribaudo and Cecilia Rodriguez. The family would like to thank the caregivers and staff at the Lodi Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Lodi, CA for their loving care provided to our mother and to our family. We thank all essential workers, responders, healthcare workers, and others working on the front lines. Our family appreciates all the prayers and concerns extended to us during this time. A private graveside service will be held at 1:11pm Friday, January 15, 2021 at St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery in Lockeford, CA, directed by the Lodi Funeral Home at 725 S. Fairmont Ave, Lodi, Ca 95240. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jacqueline F. Gribaudo to our fundraiser to help with the funeral costs for her untimely death due to the recent coronavirus surge across California. Please consider donating if you are able to do so.
