Obituary of Julie Monica Aguilar

Please share a memory of Julie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Julie Monica Aguilar, born June 6, 1964, passed away on January 18, 2021 at the age of 56 in her hometown of Stockton, CA. To simply say that Julie was a generous or compassionate person would be a massive understatement. Whether it be a family member, a friend, a stranger or stray animal, she possessed a genuine love and compassion for all who crossed her path and could light up a whole room with her smile and laughter. Not only have her family and friends lost a cherished loved one, but the world has lost an exceptional example of what it means to be a good person. Julie shared beauty with the world not only through her interactions with people and animals, but through her livelihood as well. In March of 1994, Julie and her life partner, Leslie Francis, started their own landscape maintenance company, Ladies of the Lawn. Since then, the immaculate work that their company performed has served as a testament to Julie's strong work ethic and desire to make the world a more beautiful place. Whether it concerned their yards or their lives, Julie was dedicated to improving the situations of those around her. Julie is preceded by her parents, Juanita and Frank Aguilar, in passing. She leaves behind her life partner of 29 years Leslie, son Darren, grandson Liam, sisters Ann (Dave) Rhonda (Paul), nieces and nephews, as well as a large chosen extended family of close friends, four dogs, and six cats.   To make a donation to help with funeral expenses, please go to https://www.gofundme.com/f/julie-aguilar- funeral-burial?qid=698c2477528c0df2090f803a11501866 .
