Alyce Chase Stanley, 89, passed away, March 29, 2021 with her sons by her side at home in Lodi, California. The only child of Harry and Ethel Chase, she was born in Oakdale, California on April 5, 1931. She grew up the historical town of Knights Ferry, California. She loved reminiscing about the time she spent there. She met George Stanley while attending school in Oakdale. The two were married after graduating. Together they had three sons, Harley, Kelly, and Matt. They had their hands full raising the boys. After settling in Stockton, California George and his partner Lee Turner opened Stockton Wholesale Lumber. Although Alyce was already working outside the home, she transitioned to a position at Stockton Wholesale. George and Alyce were building their dream home when she unexpectedly widowed at 49. She was too young to be alone and with help of friends, she was courted by Les Perman. The two were married until his passing in 1992. At 65 she retired and until her passing enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. Alyce is preceded in death by parents, Harry and Ethel Chase, husband George Stanley, husband Les Perman, and grandson, Danny Stanley. She is survived by sons Harley, Kelly, and Matt Stanley and grandchildren, Shaun Stanley, Jessica, Jacqui, and Matthew Stanley.
