Obituary of Jewell Aline Baker

Jewell Aline Baker, age 83 of Stockton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday May 4, 2021 in Turlock at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Jewell was born on May 14, 1937 in Caney Ok and was raised and spent most of her life in Stockton California. She is survived by her husband Farris C Baker and her two sons Randell Eric Baker and Farris Allen Baker, both of Stockton, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Fay Tyler of Laurel Delaware and numerous nieces and nephews. Jewell’s life was mostly a home maker, but she did work at Elmwood School for some time. She loved to cook and especially make tasty sweets around the holiday times. She was an expert seamstress and made many of her own clothes as well as special costumes and other items for others. She loved growing plants both in the house and the yard and is known for having one of the cleanest homes you would ever see.
