Obituary of Myra Fonseca

Please share a memory of Myra to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On July 22nd, Myra left an empty spot in all of our hearts. Born to the proud parents of Andrew and Myra Julia, she was their first born. Born and raised of proud Italian descent in San Francisco. She graduated from Galileo High School and went on to get her Masters from U.S.F in Education. She then brought her intellect to share with her many students, spending half of her years at LaConte and the second half at Starr King Elementary, both in San Francisco, where she taught them third grade. She later moved to Millbrae, where she eventually retired after 45 years in Education. Ready to enjoy retirement, in 2000 she moved to Acampo, located in the Central Valley, to be with her only daughter and only granddaughter. There she loved sitting outside and sunbathing on her deck, while watching all her favorite bluejays and sparrows, doing crafts while listening to Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, watching gymnastics, and doing her numerous daily puzzle books while she watched a good SF Giants game during spring and summer or any football game, as long as it involved her handsome Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees, and concluded nightly with episodes of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Fonseca, who also left us far too soon; and brother, Andrew. She is survived by daughter, RobynAnn (Richard) Parker; granddaughter, Cristina Danielle Gonzalez; sister, Yvonne (David) Lynch; nieces, Diane (John), Donna (Pete), April (Colin & family), Carolyn (Gonzalo & Family), and Michelle (Paul & Family), among many special family friends, including Rodnita Thomas, Lyle (Dina) Gehring, and all of her Beloved AGES. At the end of the day, we are not saying goodbye to our beloved Myra Jean, we are simply saying "Start Spreading the News, (She's) Leaving Today", until we all meet again... You will be Loved, Cherished, and Missed Dearly and Daily. Our family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her personal caregivers. Online condolences may be expressed at LodiFuneralHome.com
