Obituary of Sandy Peterson

Sandra “Sandy” “Alex” Peterson passed away on August 6, 2021 in Stockton at the age of 72. Sandy was born in Rochester, New York on September 25, 1948 to Neil and Rose Peterson. After graduating high school Sandy went to St. Mary’s and became an Registered Nurse. She then joined the Army and was deployed to Vietnam. After the war, Sandy moved to Sacramento and later to Lodi and then to Stockton. She worked at Lodi Community Hospital in the ER department and as a mobile Intensive Care Nurse for an ambulance company. When the hospital closed she went to work at Dameron Hospital in Stockton until she retired. Sandy was active at the Karl Ross Post in Stockton. Sandy is survived by her son Jesse, her sister Donna Peterson and brother Jim Peterson. A graveside service will be held Wednesday August 18th at 12:30 at Lodi Memorial Cemetery 5750 E Pine Street with visitation at Lodi Funeral Home 725 S Fairmont Ave, Lodi August 18th from 10:00 am until Noon.
