Obituary of Ronald Allen Bailey Jr.

Ronald Allen Bailey Jr., of Lodi, California died on October 3, 2021 at Lodi Memorial Hospital after respiratory failure from complications of quadriplegia. Ron was born July 15, 1966 in Moab, UT to Ronald Sr. and Elaine Bailey. He had the opportunity to live and travel to many places around the world. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1985. He obtained a bachelors in Civil Engineering from UC Irvine, and then a Masters in Architectural Engineering from Cal State Fullerton. After working as an architect for a few years he decided to continue his education and was accepted to McGeorge School of Law in 1994. His life path changed unexpectedly in September 1994, when he was involved in a car accident that left him a quadriplegic. Ron continued to share his love of role-playing games, sci-fi and comedy shows with his close friend Sean. He also looked forward to his weekend video game sessions with his cousin, and best friend Thomas. He always enjoyed visits from family, and the occasional trip to a Bailey family reunion. Ron also found a Doctor in India working on stem-cell treatment for spinal cord injuries, and took multiple trips to New Delhi, India. Ron is survived by his dedicated and loving parents, Ronald Sr. and Elaine Bailey; his best friend and cousin, Thomas Montgomery; along with many loving family members. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Claron and Virginia Bailey, Reginald and Margaret Montgomery. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a later date as yet undetermined.
