Marge was born to P.D Taylor and Emma Ethel (Arrant) Taylor near Agua Dulce, Texas, on March 7, 1925.  She passed away slightly over one month before her 97th birthday. Marge was the youngest daughter of nine children, four boys and five girls.  She was also the longest living of all her siblings.  She married Worth Hawkins, also of Texas. Marge and Worth travelled, antiqued, gardened, and had many adventures, including touring with a model car club. She was a member of the Lodi Avenue Baptist Church.
>
> Marge was preceded in death by her husband Worth and their son David Hawkins, and her sister Ethel Copeland of Lodi.  Marge is remembered for her welcoming smile, her interest in others, her intrepid spirit, and devotion to friends and family. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.  The family extends a personal thank you to nephew Roger Copeland for his care of and assistance to her during her last years and a special thank you to her devoted friend Ionie Lugg for her care and dedication.

Private funeral services were held on February 10, 2022.
