Obituary of LaVone Ione Nies
LaVone Ione Nies sadly passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 86yrs. LaVone was born on July 1, 1935 in Leola SD to Reinhold and Lucille Kolb. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Lodi Ca. Survived by her husband of 68 years of marriage Milton Nies, daughters Lacinda Buell and Debra Ruonavaara, foster daughter Carol Kauer, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Reinhold and Lucille Kolb , brother Ronald Kolb, and sister Carol Ann ( Dolly) Geist and brother Danny Kolb.
Memorial service we be at Lodi Funeral Home in Lodi Ca. On June 10, 2022 at 11am with grave side services following at Cherokee Memorial on Hwy 99 and Harney Ln.
