Obituary of Raymond L. Hale

Ray passed at home with family and friends by his side.

Ray was born in Oklahoma and migrated with his family to California when he was a child.

He graduated from Edison High School in Stockton Ca in 1955. He went on to proudly serve as Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy from which he retired after 20 years of service.  Ray also had numerous other law enforcement positions throughout his life. The last being a correctional officer at Pelican Bay State Prison from which he retired in 2004.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and lived life to the fullest bringing joy to everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by sisters Maxine and Margie, three children Linda Hale, John Hale and Stephen Hale and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by brothers Wayne and Jim and sisters Liddy Bell and Loreen.

 

Services will be held on June 17th 11:00 AM at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery
