Kathryn Giedt, 84, of Lodi, died on October 28th. She was born on March 20, 1919, in Brinsmade, N.D. Mrs. Giedt married Walter Giedt in June of 1938. They moved to Lodi in 1973, where she attended Redeemer Lutheran Church. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Pfefferkorn of Visalia and Karen Grey of Rohnert Park; sister, Phyllis Lindstrom of Portland, Oregon; brothers, Joe Tester of Palmer, Alaska, Bud Tester of Vancouver, Wash. and William Tester of Devil's Lake, N.D.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Giedt in 1988; daughter, Debbie Giedt in 1956; sisters, Lois Martin and Dorothy Tester; and brother, Don Tester. A celebration of life service will be held at noon, Sunday, November 2nd at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Lodi with Pastor Willweber officiating. Committal will be held at 11 am at Cherokee Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 4th.
