Obituary of Rosella A. Boos

Rosella A. Pieper Boos, 79, pased away October 16, 2003 in Lodi. She was born on September 10, 1924 in Cedar County, Nebraska. Mrs. Boos married William Thomas Boos on December 31, 1943. They moved to San Jose in 1959. They later moved to Lodi in the mid '70's, finally settling in Valley Springs in March of 1991. Mrs. Boos was retired. She had worked as a waitress for 15 years or more at the Branding Iron in Santa Clara, CA. She was known for her cooking, crocheting, gardening and her love of camping. Mrs. Boos is survived by her children, William Thomas Boos,Jr. of San Jose, Gary James Boos of Lodi, Barbara Lynn Preskitt of Arizona, David Wayne Boos of Valley Springs and Daniel Lee Boos of Valley Springs; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sister, Kitty Taggert and brother, Al Pieper, both of South Dakokta. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Boos, Sr. in 1999. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 27th at 10:00am at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, San Andreas. Inurnment will be private at Lodi Memorial Cemetery.
