Obituary of Kathleen Gwin

Kathleen Ann Gwin was born March 17, 1948 in Camden, New Jersey where she was also raised. She married Steven Gwin June 14, 1974 in Charleston, South Carolina. The couple moved to Lodi in 1978. The moved to Galt in 1991. She was employed at Crescent Court Nursing Home and other local hospitals for over five years; however, her greatest joy was being with her family and taking care of them. She enjoyed dancing, ceramics, crocheting and trips to Nevada. She is survived by her husband, Steven Gwin of Galt; sons, Michael McCool of Galt, Mark McCool of Manteca, Matthew McCool and Steven Gwin of Galt; daughter, Kim McCool Powell of Galt. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren as well as three brothers, Earl Cline of New Jersey, Alfred Cline,Jr., of Ohio and Francis Cline of Ohio; one sister, Grace Carstein of Ohio. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Danny Cline and two sisters, Linda Denston and Patty Cline. In lieu of flowers, there has been a trust fund established: Kathy Gwin Memorial Fund, Union Bank of California, 1059 C Street, Galt, CA 95632.
