Obituary of Tony Khan

Tony Khan, 50, of Lodi, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at a Lodi hospital after a long illness. A native of Torrance, California, Tony was born on October 30, 1952, the son of Tommy Khan and Charlotte Dupras. Tony worked as a bartender for most of his life. He lived in Lodi for the about 14 years and in Reno, Nevada for about 5 years. He was a graduate of College of Contra Costa, where he attained a Bachelor in Arts Degree in Liberal Arts. Tony served his country in the United States Air Force from 1975 until he was honorably discharged in 1979. Tony was well known for his good sense of humor, his kindness to others. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, backpacking and motorcycles. He was remarkably talented in woodworking and stone sculpturing. Tony is survived by his mother and stepfather, Charlotte and Thomas Padilla of Acampo. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Khan and Daniel Padilla, and his nephew, Brandon Khan.
