Obituary of Barry Hall

Barry Wallace Hall was born May 18, 1957 in Tracy, California. He passed away August 12, 2003 in Lockeford, California at the age of 46. Mr. Hall was raised and educated in Tracy. He worked as a self-employed roofing contractor in San Joaquin County for over 20 years specializing in residential and commercial roofing. Barry was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and served on the Board of Properties with the church. He was active with Habitat for Humanity through contributions of both time and resources. He enjoyed Golf, Bowling, family oriented 4-wheeling outings, and had an insatiable appetite for "Good" food. He had also seen great benefit from AA and was a longtime friend of Bill W's. He met Lonnie Marie Briggs in 1983 and the couple was married at St. Paul Lutheran Church in 1991. They've made their home in Lockeford since 1983. Barry leaves to cherish his memory, his wife; Lonnie Hall of Lockeford, daughter; Nicole Peterson and her husband Bradley of San Luis Obispo, daughter; Kristy Hall of Rockford, IL, daughter; Darlene Dunston and her husband Adam of Lockeford, son; Justin Hall of Manteca, daughter; Kylie Ann Hall of Lockeford, and son; Connor Joseph Hall of Lockeford. Grandchildren; Bailie Dunston, Jason Kraayvanger, Amanda Kraayvanger, and Carmen Kraayvanger. Brothers; Richard Hall of Oregon, and Steven Hall of Manteca. Numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Harry and Alvina Hall. Friends may visit Saturday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave, Lodi., and are invited to attend Funeral Services on Monday, 1 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 S. Pleasant St. (corner of Hutchins and Pleasant), Lodi, with interment at Lodi Memorial Cemetery immediately following. Memorial Contributions may be made to M.A.D.D., 8624 N.
