Lewis Theodore Potts was born October 21, 1931 in Eugene, Oregon. Lewis and his family moved frequently during his early life, he graduated from Healdsburg High School in 1949 and settled in Stockton in 1959. He married Nancy Tennant in 1970 and the couple made their home in Lodi. He owned and operated California Paint and Body for over 50 years, he also raised cattle. He enjoyed travel and sponsored a Cal Paint Open Division Softball Team for 10 years. He was Director of the Stockton Bowling Association, member of the American Angus Association and California Angus Association, he served on the Lodi-Tokay Band Review Committee from 1959-1995. He also enjoyed sports events and like the Sacramento Kings and the San Francisco 49ers. He is survived by his wife Nancy POtts of Lodi, Children; Randolph Russell Potts of Stockton, Debby Lynn Potts of Orangevale, Cindy Lane Potts of Stockton, and Kevin Lewis Potts of Salida. Seven GRandchildren, Four Great-grandchildren, and his brother; Alvin Carroll Potts. He was preceded in death by his sister Wanda Ruth Asbill and his brother Thomas Donald Potts.
