It’s with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of lifelong Tracyite Stanley Linn Rippin. Stanley was born in Merced, California, he was the 5th and last child of Naomi and Arthur Rippin. His family moved to Tracy where he started school, and in high school he became interested in things connected with agriculture and won the machinery mechanics award. After Stanley was discharged from the Navy, he and Dolores started a family in Tracy where they were blessed with three children. They were married 64 years until Dolores’ passing. Stanley worked as a farm machinery mechanic for Sasser Tractor, had his own business named Stan’s Equipment Repair, was a partner at the company Engine, Sales and Service, and then finally with his last company known as Stan & Dee’s Used Iron.
