In Loving Memory of Jacob (Jake) Scott Wright Sr.

Jacob (Jake) Scott Wright Sr., beloved father to Riley and Jacob Jr. Wright, passed away suddenly on February 26, 2024, at his residence in Walnut Grove, CA. Jake was 47 years old.

Jake was born on November 7, 1976, in San Jose, CA, to Alfred Wright and Holli Wright. He grew up in Lockeford/Lodi where he attended Elementary through High School.

Throughout his life, Jake touched the hearts of many with his big smile, kindness, generosity, and humor. He had a passion for animals and loved to work. Known for his quick response to fix anything, Jake's drive to help his customers was always his true passion. He would respond to any call from a customer no matter what was happening or what time of day it was to rescue them.

In his spare time, Jake enjoyed raising cattle, finding joy in the open countryside and nature. Always searching for a place to roam, he will be remembered for his big heart, smile, and that one last beer. Jake was not here for a long time, but he was always here for a good time.

Jake leaves behind his daughter Riley A. Wright, partner Tyler W. Farnsworth, and grandson Waylon C. Farnsworth, his beloved son Jacob S. Wright Jr., his parents Alfred and Annette Wright, and Holli and Scott Baker, his beloved grandfather Walter Greene. Jake also leaves behind siblings Melissa, Danielle, Eric, Jamie, and a host of friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Opal Greene.

The memory of Jake's infectious laughter, warm smile, and compassionate heart will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

A funeral service will be held on March 29, 2024, at Lodi Funeral Home. All friends and acquaintances are invited to attend and pay their respects.

Jake may have left this world, but his spirit will live on eternally in the lives of those he touched.

Rest in peace, dear Dad. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
