Cordilia Fernandes, known best as Cordy, was a sister, mother, grandmother, great, and great-great grandmother who passed away on July 10th 2021 at the age of 93. Cordy is reunited with her husband of 57 years, Howard Fernandes. Before he passed away in 2011, Cordy and Howard loved to take cruises with friends, bike across the country, and camp and fish in their RV. The two of them lived an adventurous life and are now reunited in heaven. Cordy loved watching after her grandchildren, cooking and crocheting. One of her most favorite pastimes was heading to Jackson with her oldest granddaughter, Becky, to try their luck at the slot machines. Cordy also had a fondness for Rod Stewart. One of her favorite songs was “Forever Young”, which is a perfect reminder to always live your life to the fullest doing what you love, with the people you love.
