Obituary of Albert L. Ortega

Albert was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on March 27, 1939. He graduated from Tulare Western and worked as a supervisor for Pacific Coast Producers until he retired after 52 years. He was also an Army Veteran and served 4 years.
He was a big 49ers fan and enjoyed that with his grandbabies, Baby Bam Bam and Baby Jered.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Refugio and Francisca Ortega; son, Albert Ortega, Jr.; grandsons, Jered Senecal and Jacob Montejano; and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Elizabeth A. Ortega; children, Debbie Gaddis, Frances Montejano (Arturo) of San Diego, Martha Newell (James) of Salida, Gilbert Ortega of Lodi, David Ortega (Daniela) of Lodi and Jackie Senecal of Lodi; sisters, Pauline Ortega of Tulare and Irene Chacon of San Jose; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Lodi Memorial Hospital doctors and nurses.
The rosary will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23 at Lodi Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday 24 at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Afterwards everyone will follow to Cherokee Memorial Park.
