Obituary of Robert Lee Wall
On May 14, 2022, Robert “Rob” Lee Wall left this world and entered into his eternal home at the age of 39. Born September 12, 1982 in Lodi, California. Rob was a native to Lodi. He was born, raised and passed away in the town that he loved.
In 2007, Rob began his career as a California Correctional Officer at Mule Creek State Prison and later transferred to the California State Health Care Facility Stockton. During his over 15 year career, he built many strong relationships that became an extended family to him. Rob’s passion for music was a major part of his life. As the lead vocalist for various bands, he was able to build even more relationships, perform and travel. His current band, Failure By Proxy, provided the opportunity of writing more of his music and gaining a group of brothers.
It is Rob’s smile and love that will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was genuine, and loving with a huge and generous heart.
Rob would lend a hand whenever given the opportunity. Enjoyed fishing, going to concerts, great foods from every culture, cooking/grilling and writing the lyrics to his songs.
Rob was married to Mia Wall for a number of years and after their separation, he found love again with Diana Alatorre, who blessed him with their new-born son Zachary Lee Wall. He will forever be remembered by all his loving family: step-daughter Nikki and beloved grand-daughter Hazel; his brother Juan Carlos Villafana(Shelly); sisters Alicia O’Connor(Curt), Rebecca Villafana; Cecilia Wilson(Mac); Nephews Ryan Hayashino, Kyle Villafana, Hayden and Aaron O’Connor.
