Connie passed peacefully on February 5, 2023 to join her husband Andy; her parents Andres and Consuelo Zepeda; siblings Peter, Manuel, Rosamaria, Manuel Ruben; in-laws Clemente and Angeline Di Loreto; Brother/sisters-in-law Joseph (Myrtle) Di Loreto, Jeanette (Ken) Zifka, Dora Di Loreto; nephews and niece Greg Zifka, John and Julie Bernard; son-in-law Phillip Montiero Jr. Connie is survived by her children Peter (Julie), Paul (Karen) and Mari Anne Montiero; grandchildren Andrea, Kevin, Nicholas, Trevor, Dominique, Giovanni, Matthew, and Carson; great grandchildren Riley and Wesley; her sisters Caroline and Dolores (Lola) Zepeda, brother-in-law Clement; nieces, nephews and numerous family and friends. Connie retired as a Division Secretary for the Aeronautics, Humanities and Physical Education Departments at Sacramento City College; member and past president for the Holy Spirit School Mothers Club, Dante Club Women's Auxiliary; member of the Nisei league and various bowling leagues in Sacramento; A Celebration of Life rosary and mass will take place on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10:00am in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3159 Land Park Dr, Sacramento, CA 95818. Donations may be sent to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center https://www.mskcc.org/ or the Alzheimer's Association  https://www.alz.org/?form=alz_donate
