Obituary of Alejandro Valencia Jr.

ALEJANDRO VALENCIA JR. passed away on May 29th, 2023, at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Davis. He was born in Calexico, CA on August 4th, 1954.

Alejandro attended Galt High School. Although he had a hard life, he loved his family and will be truly missed by all until we meet again. Our Heavenly Father has called another angel to his glory.

Alejandro was preceded in death by his loving parents, Alejandro Valencia Sr. and Soledad Escamilla Valencia; his three brothers, Arturo, Ruben, William, Carlos and sister-in-law Genevieve Valencia.

He is survived by his loving children, Soledad and Alejandro III, two stepchildren, Shannon & Lewie Mata; grandchildren Nicholas Richard, Madison Mendez, Brian Ash Jr., Alexis Ash, Alex Valencia, Gabriel Valencia and great grandson Xavier Valencia; his sisters Gloria Valencia Cruz, Sonia Aguiar (Salvador); brothers Joey (Nena), Ramon (Mary), Manuel (Karen); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family wouid like to thank Sutter Davis Hospital ICU nurses for the care and support provided to Alejandro and the family. Special thanks to the staff from Hospice of Yolo County who went above and beyond in his care and always being there to offer any support for the entire family.

A viewing will be held at Lodi Funeral Home on June 8th, 2023, from 2 — 6 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park on June 9th, 2023, at 10 a.m.
