Obituary of Concepcion Oyog

Stockton resident, Concepcion “Connie” Oyog passed away Monday July 3rd at the age of 92. Born March 16, 1931 on Sherman Island of Sacramento County to parents Dalmacio and Filomena Sabino. Connie had many jobs but dedicated herself to being a wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her faith in Jesus and being with her family. 

Connie enjoyed painting, riding her stationary bike, and various arts and crafts. She crocheted blankets for almost all of her family. She loved animals and cared for many feral cats, and was an expert gardener who could grow enormous onions and Brandywine tomatoes. 

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 53 years, Martin P. Oyog, her daughter, Joni Lynn Oyog-Foster, and her siblings, Nancy Foster, Gina McKenna, Magdalena Lauranilla, William Sabino, and Vincent Sabino. She is survived by children, Mark Linus Oyog, David Solomon Oyog, and Lori Ann Lee (Jonathan); grandchildren, Michael Foster, Jeremy Foster, Christian Lee, and Jon-Martin Lee; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Tristan Foster; and her sister, Ruth Eliab.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, July 17th with a Celebration of Life to be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, at Cordova Church of Christ, 10577 Coloma Rd, Rancho Cordova, CA.
