Obituary of Carmen Ana Quiroz

Please share a memory of Carmen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lodi resident Carmen Ana Quiroz passed away Wednesday, August 2nd at the age of 77. She was born September 25, 1945 in Lompoc, California and was the oldest of eight children. Carmen had a strong work ethic and dedicated her time as a teacher’s aide for Lodi Unified School District for 48 years and Pacific Coast Producers for over 45 years.

Carmen enjoyed going to casinos, listening to oldies music, and watching sports - she always rooted for the Dallas Cowboys. She loved to tell jokes and is fondly remembered as being the life of every party. She was friendly and willing to help anyone she met, and would know someone to talk with anywhere she went. Her warm and generous spirit will be truly missed.

Carmen was preceded in death by her mother, Carmen Hernandez; her brothers, David and Michael Hernandez. She is survived by her siblings, Mercy Mar (Bert), Eleanor Mojica, Faye Guerrero (Dan), Victoria Zuniga (Edelmiro Sr.), and Regina Flores (Jose); and sister-in-law, Cindy Hernandez, her nephews, who knew her as Mom, John Herrera and Vincent Hernandez; grand-nieces, Jasmine and Anicca Herrera who knew her as Grandma; cousin Susie Lopez, who was as close as a sister; and countless more dear family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Century Assembly Church, 550 W. Century Blvd, in Lodi.
