Brenda Renee Woehl-Patton, 67 years old of Stockton, California passed away on

long courageous battle with that deadly disease.
She was born Brenda Renee Woehl on August 22, 1955, to Gilbert and Verla Woehl in
Harvey, North Dakota. During the winter of 1960, the Woehl Family moved to Lodi,
California.
Brenda is survived by her husband, David W. Patton, stepson David A. Patton of San
Diego, CA, brother Gary (Linda) Woehl of Lodi, CA and niece Elisabeth Woehl,
Stockton, CA, and Marlene Goldade (Aunt) in North Dakota, Wesley Faul (Uncle) in
Minnesota, numerous cousins in California, North Dakota and the Midwest and family
friends. Also, Carmen Munoz (Caregiver), Stockton, CA, who Brenda and David
consider as family. In addition, Brenda loved her dogs Korbel, Walter and Walter Jr.
Brenda was a graduate of Lodi Union High School in 1973 and earned an Associate of
Arts Degree from San Joaquin Delta College in 1975 in fashion design. She started
working for Breuners in Stockton in 1975 as a wedding coordinator and later promoted
to sales. While at Breuners, she met her husband (David) in June of 1982. They got
married on October 6, 1984, at Morris Chapel at University of the Pacific in Stockton,
CA and were married for over 38 years. Brenda and David were highly active in the
Corvette’s of Lodi Club and would participate in car shows and car rallies over the
years. Brenda also worked at Harold Thompson’s Flooring in Stockton and Tracy

Multiple Sclerosis (MS). In 1988, Brenda was diagnosed with MS, however she
continued to work and travel with family to Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, and the North Coast
of California. Brenda was highly active in the local MS Support Group meetings and
dinners in San Joaquin County. In 2010, she became wheelchair dependent until 2015,
and she then became bed ridden. As the MS progressed, she always had a positive
attitude and cheerful outlook. Her wonderful caregiver, Carmen, cared for her until
Brenda’s passing. Brenda and Carmen became great friends and were like sisters.
Thank you, Carmen, for taking such great care of Brenda. Our dearest Brenda, rest in
peace and know that you are forever in our hearts.
