Lynnette Valente Susich, 65, passed away suddenly on December 14, 2023.  She was born August 16, 1958 in Lodi, California to her parents John and Bonnie Valente.    

Lynnette attended Lodi High School through 1975.   She then enrolled in cosmetology school and practiced as a beautician for 17 years.  Later she began a career in child development working at Century Assembly Preschool, Happy Hours and Lodi Day Nursery School for over 20 years.  She married Matthew Susich in October 1980 and had a daughter Natalie, who was the center of her world. 

Lynnette loved all animals, especially her dog Lulu, and numerous pet dogs and cats over the years.  Gardening was her favorite hobby along with going to the beach to enjoy the ocean.  In her younger years she enjoyed playing softball and more recently going for a cruise on her scooter.

Lynnette is preceded in death by her parents John and Bonnie Valente, her brother Johnny Valente and nephew Gregory Valente.   She is survived by her daughter Natalie (Dan) Bashaw, brother Glen (Rosie) Valente, sister-in-law Barb Valente, ex-husband Matthew Susich, nephew Brian (Jessica) Valente and niece Janeen (Josh) Loewen, along with many cousins and other loved ones.

 A celebration of life will be held at Lodi Funeral Home Chapel on January 5th at 3:00 pm.
