Obituary of Margaret "Maggie" Cavanaugh

Please share a memory of Margaret "Maggie" to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Maggie was born July 28th, 1946 in Sudbury, Suffolk England and passed November 24th, 2023.

Her loved ones are heartbroken but have found solace remembering her fun filled life, fearless challenge of norms, and discovering opportunity and achievement even if all the way "across the pond" in the US.

She married an American Air Force Man and during the Vietnam war, she began her US life in Sacramento.  Here she found a career and revealed her personal inspiration of thinking and helping others first.
Professionally, she became a care home administrator and pharmacy technician.
Personally, she became a great mother and a dear heart that always put others first even through her last days.

After work brought her to Stockton, Maggie met her fun and loving partner for life - Brian.  All three of her sons were able to walk her down the aisle in confidence, knowing she would enjoy life and were lucky enough to enjoy first hand with them.
Together they celebrated life with so many great friends and she has always wished that she be remembered with a celebration and that you all remember the great times.

Maggie is survived by husband Brian Cavanaugh, three sons and 3 beautiful grandchildren.
Sons:  Grantly, a priest and Chaplain in the US Army, Marc an IT professional,  Anthony a VP of Supply Chain and three grandchildren.

We will be hosting a celebration of life at a family home in Lodi, CA.  The address is 17365 N. Tully Road, Lodi, CA 95240
