Obituary of Thomas Eugene Miller

Thomas Eugene Miller, aged 93, passed away on January 10, 2024, in Lodi, CA.  He found love with Emma Marie Miller in his 85th year after his wife of 40 years, Marjorie P. Miller, died in 2013.  Tom was born in New Orleans on July 25, 1930, and was raised in both Mississippi and California. He graduated from Arizona State University and served in the Navy.    After he retired from Insurance Company of North America, he enjoyed serving with the S.T.A.R.S (Sheriff’s Team of Active Retired Seniors) for a number of years.  A longtime Woodbridge resident, he was committed to maintaining the beauty and safety of Woodbridge Wilderness Area.

 

Tom is survived by his wife, Emma Marie Miller, as well as loving family and friends.  A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to STARS (sjcsfoundation.org) or the City of Lodi Animal Shelter (lodi.gov) would be appreciated.
