Obituary of Rosario Higuera

Rosario Higuera, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully
on January 22nd, 2024 at the age of 99 in Lodi, California. She was born on April 15th, 1924 in Brawley,
California to loving parents who instilled in her the values of hard work and family. Mrs. Higuera life
was one of dedication and love for her family. As a farm laborer for many years, she worked hard along
side her late husband Manuel Higuera to provide for her children and build a beautiful family legacy that
will live on through generations. Her strength and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Rosario was a devout Christian that showed in the way she lived her life. In addition to being a devoted
mother to her sons Manuel/Olivia Higuera, Jose/Debbie Higuera, Ariel/Debbie Higuera; daughters
Maria/Joe Valencia and Alma/Carlos Ruiz; Mrs. Higuera leaves behind an incredible legacy with 18
grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren whom she cherished deeply. Rosario found joy in simple
pleasures such as gardening, sewing, and cooking delicious meals for her loved ones to enjoy together
every Sunday. The loss of Rosario is deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, we find
comfort knowing that she has joined her late husband, parents, siblings, and loved ones in the presence
of our creator.
