Obituary of Bobby Lee Hieb

Bobby Lee Hieb, age 81 of Lodi, California passed away peacefully at home on January 30, 2024 following an extended illness.  

Bobby was born October 3, 1942 and raised in Lodi to parents Gideon Hieb and Marie Fox.  On January 3, 1983 he married his love Judith Ann Hieb in Reno Nevada.  Together they shared 41 years of marriage.  They had three beautiful daughters and three amazing step- daughters.  He was a fun and loving grandfather as well.  

Bobby worked for Pacific Coast Producers Can Plant for 37 years.  The last 12 years he worked for Lodi Unified School District as a campus supervisor.  He loved working there until he got sick.  He loved helping children and had a gift of kindness.  Bobby belonged to the Moose Lodge as well as the Stockton/Waterloo Gun and Bocce Club.  Trap shooting was his true sport where he won the California State Trapshooting tournament in 1997.  It was one of his proudest achievements.

Bobby is survived by his wife Judy Hieb, daughters Madilyn Hieb,Jodi Wold, and Gina Bernstien, step-daughters Lynda, Cheryl, and Doreen, brother Steve Gwin (Lavone), 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren Caroline and Thomas, and many nieces and nephews.

Bobby is preceded in death by his two brothers, Darold and Lee, and two brother-in-laws Jerry Lok and Gene Dickhoff.

A celebration of life will be held March 11, 2024 at 11:00am at Waterloo Gun and Bocce Club in Stockton, California.
