Obituary of Lori Anna Luna

Please share a memory of Lori to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Lori Anna Luna, 55 of Lodi, passed away Friday, January 19th with her family at her side.  She was born September 29, 1968 in French Camp, California to parents Tony Gomez and Mary Madrid.  Lori received her associates degree from Humphrey's College and always told her family, "Knowledge is key."

Lori was a believer in God and had a strong faith.  She loved to spend time with family and had a passion for fun.  She enjoyed playing tennis, dancing, reading, listening to jazz music, camping, kayaking, and traveling - she would never say "no" to a nice day drive.  Her favorite camping places were Rancho Seco and New Brighton Beach where she would plan trips annually.  Santa Cruz held a special place in her heart for the jazz scene, flea markets, and time spent hanging out on the beach.  Most of all she was a generous and giving person, always thinking of her loved ones first.  She was a warm and beautiful soul.

Lori held a special place in all of our hearts and will be deeply missed by many.  She always wanted the best for herself and others.  She was young at heart and always wanting to have a good time with everyone.  She will be forever loved, but never forgotten.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Tony Gomez and Mary Madrid.  She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Eddie Luna; their children, Vincent (Jessica) and Alex Luna; grandson Khristian Luna and a granddaughter that is on the way, Athena Luna; her siblings, Anthony, Kathy, Julie, Gracie, and Patricia; nieces and nephews, who were like children to her, Anna, Mati, Antonio, Alisya, Daniel, Ricky, Robert, David, Trini, Alfonso, Donnie, many more nieces and nephews, and family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Feburary 17, 2024 at 1:00pm at American Legion Hall in Stockton, California.
