Patricia "Pat" Ann (Johnson) Hoffman (74) Lodi, CA; born Sept. 21, 1949, in Postville, IA, to Harry & Kathryn Johnson of Elgin, IA. She graduated from Valley High School ('67) and the University of Sioux Falls ('71 ). Because of her prolonged illness, she longed to be with Jesus and passed from this world into the open and welcoming arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, Feb. 25. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rev. Dennis D Hoffman with four children and six grandchildren: Jonathan (Claudia -Joshua & Ayla) Hoffman, Sarah (Eric - Sean & Kaitlyn) Henneberque, Rebekah (Aubry- Kaylee & Mercedes) Oakes; & Hannah (Tim) Keller. A niece, Bobbii Jacobs, and a nephew, Bob Hach, Jr. and three grand nephews. Preceding her was an older baby brother Dwight, her parents, Harry & Kathryn (Krueger) Johnson, and sister, Marjorie Hach.

She had a contagious joy, making friends and sharing the love of Christ with people she met, and was a constant support to her husband. She was passionate about singing and shared her love of music and Jesus through teaching, and leading children's choirs. A vocal major in college, with a degree in elementary music education, she sang in college concert choir and with her husband in Madrigals, and in his church choirs. Her lifelong dream to record was fulfilled when, together with her husband, she recorded two albums: "Little Flowers" & "Little By Little", arranged and conducted by Joseph Linn. Dennis & Pat began Butterfly Ministries, a musical and teaching ministry, traveling several years before returning to church ministry and starting a family. Upon retiring in Lodi, CA, she began "Pat's Creative Designs" from her love of drawing, creativity and sewing, to showcase her projects.
