Long time Linden and Valley Springs resident, Ronald E. Kaiser passed away peacefully at his home, in Valley Springs after battling a long illness.  He was born in Stockton to his late parents Ernest and Mildred Kaiser on September 17, 1934, and was the second of five children.

Ron attended Linden High School.  He loved to play football and wrestle.  In 2009, he was inducted into Lindens Football Hall of Fame for Linden's first ever championship in 1950.

Out of high school, he went to work for Percy Brown in the Nut Hulling Industry and then he bought the business in 1971.  That became his life's work and passion.  Eventually expanded to pecans, pistachios, chestnuts, and macadamia nuts.

He loved to watch his 49ers, boxing, Nascar, and westerns, especially John Wayne.  His favorite holiday was July 4th and setting off fireworks.  Ron also loved his 30 year service to the Linden-Peters Fire Department.  He started out as a volunteer firefighter,  Assistant Fire Chief, and then Board of Directors before retiring in 1990.

Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elena Early Kaiser; his son Ron (Barbara) Kaiser and daughter Janis Kaiser; grandchildren Jacklyn and Julianna Kaiser; great grandchildren Hunter, Colt, and Beau; Goddaughter Georgia Decarlo-Steiger; brother Ernest Kaiser, sisters Phylis Davies and Cathy (Herb) Goularte, nieces and nephews, and a great number of cousins.
