Myron M. Rall, of Lodi, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the age of 75. Myron was born in Ashley, North Dakota on June 28, 1936. In 1941 Myron along with his family moved to Lodi where he attended school and graduated from Lodi High School in 1954. He attended and graduated from Stockton Junior College in 1956. Myron married the love of his life Sylvia Hermann in 1959. He worked as a butcher and for a brief period at General Mills before joining the Lodi Fire Department in 1958. Myron retired in 1989 as a captain with 31 years of service. After retirement he worked part-time for the City Finance and Utilities department as a field rep for 20 years. He also served in the California National Guard from 1956 to 1964. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Myron is survived by his brother Stanley Rall of Lodi; sons Michael Rall and Mark Rall both of Lodi; grandchildren Michael, Michele, David, Amanda, and Adam. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Sylvia Rall in 1989 and his parents Gottlieb Rall and Rosina (Hipfner) Rall. Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, November 17, from 10am-8pm at Lodi Funeral Home. A Chapel service will be held on Friday, November 18, at 1 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Committal is private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of San Joaquin at 3888 Pacific Ave. Stockton, CA. 95204-1953.
