Obituary of Sandra Lee Davis

Sandra Lee Davis of Lodi, passed away July 4, 2009, after a courageous battle of many years of ill health. She never stopped helping and caring for others, even when ill; that was her goal in life. Sandra was born to Leo and Christine Silvestrini in Arcata, California on April 10, 1941. Sandy went to S.D.A. schools, completing her education at Loma Linda University, with her B.S., R.N., P.H. degrees. She began her nursing career at the White Memorial Emergency Room in Los Angeles. Later she moved to Mt. View and worked several years at Stanford University Hospital Emergency Room. She moved to Lodi in 1979, and continued her career as a Home Health Nurse. She was the epitome of T.L.C. Sandra will be missed by all whose lives she touched. Sandra had no children of her own, but she considered Nicole Ramiriz her daughter, having helped raise her from birth to age 20, now. Sandra and Jerry Davis were married twelve years and divorced, but remained loving friends until her death. She is survived by her mother, Christine Silvestrini; her sister, Betty Becker Schneider and husband Earl; her nieces Stacie Gaska and husband Bob; Sasha Silvestrini; Melissa Silvestrini; nephew, Kendall Silvestrini; her Aunt Dorothy Franklin and many cousins. She leaves Nicole, her special friend, Kathy Poole and all of Nicole's family. She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Gary. Memorial services are pending in Stockton. There is no visitation, and committal is private. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandy's name to the Shriner's Hospital for Children or charity of donor's choice.
