Obituary of Esther Caroline Kidroske

Esther Caroline Kidroske went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2006 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 86. Mrs. Kidroske was born in Hebron, North Dakota to Theophil and Caroline Ewald on August 23, 1919. She graduated from Hebron High School. On June 20, 1943, she married Edward David Kidroske in Valley City, North Dakota. They moved to Lodi from North Dakota in 1957 and she worked for Pacific Coast Producers, retiring in 1989. She raised six children who are all serving the Lord. She was a Pastor's wife for 24 years in North Dakota and California and a fourth grade Sunday school teacher at Century Assembly of God for 30 plus years. She enjoyed music and playing the piano, reading and her grandchildren. She moved to Springfield, Missouri in 2003. Mrs. Kidrokse is survived by her children, David Edward Kidroske of Apopka, FL, Eunice Ann (Gary) Bruegman of Springfield, MO, Lois Miriam (John) Pittman of Modesto, CA, Debra Joy (Clovis) Nuetzman of Springfield, MO, Jonathan James (Pam) Kidroske of Modesto, CA and Susan Marilyn (Clarke) Ahlsweed of Antioch, CA; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Ewald of Mission Viejo, CA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward, on June 24, 2002, three brothers, Paul, Samuel and Philip Ewald and one sister, Ruth Ewald. Friends are invited to visit on Monday at Lodi Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. A Chapel service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home, and committal will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial remembrances be made to Caminul Felix Orphanage, Neighborhood at River Ranch, 3200 Tully Road, Modesto, CA 95350.
