Obituary of Susan E. "Berg" Bertocchini

On May 5th Susan Elizabeth (Berg) Bertocchini passed away to be with her Heavenly Father after a long battle with cancer. Susan was born on September 30, 1960 in Stockton, CA to parents, Vic and Gail Berg. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Delta College and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. She worked as a teacher in the pre-school program for Lodi Unified School District. Her greatest love was her three children, and she devoted much of her free time being involved in their activities and schooling. Susan was an avid snow and water skier and spent time with her children on their jet skis. Susan's warmth and love for everyone is evidenced by the large number of people who consider her a good friend. Susan also had a love for animals, and she always had pets in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Susan is survived by her husband, Victor, her children, Daniel, Ethan and Haley Bennett, her brother, Chris Berg, her sister-in-law, Valerie Berg, her parents, Vic and Gail Berg. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Maria Bertocchini and stepsons, Daniel and Matthew Bertocchini, and sister-in-law, Sandra Leingang and many many friends. Friends are invited to visit Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Lockeford on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Committal will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, family has requested memorial remembrances be made to Animal Friends Connection Humane Society, P.O.
