Obituary of Robert J. Quenzel

Robert J. Quenzel of Lodi passed away on May 3, 2006 at the age of 69 in Lodi. He was born in Albany, CA on August 31, 1936 to Emil J. and Elaine B. Quenzel and raised in Oakland. In 1958 he married Margit Larsen. They moved to Hayward where they raised their family. He was a method analyst for ATT, retiring after 30 years in 1986. When he retired, he and Margit moved to his beloved river on Grand Island. He operated Quenzelville, a small resort for his friends. He moved to Lodi four years ago. He enjoyed his friends, building and putting things together, and he loved parties for his family and friends. Mr. Quenzel is survived by his daughter, Stacy, husband, Mike, and granddaughter, Allison and son, Bob, and wife, Linda and grandchildren, Robert and Sheri. He was preceded in death in June of 1987 by his wife, Margit Quenzel. There is no visitation, and committal is private. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
