Obituary of Lynn Marie Bender

In the early morning hours of May 1, 2006, Lynn Marie Bender went to be with her Heavenly Father. She was born May 26, 1959, in Lodi, Calif., to Donald Robert Bender and Wyoma Gail Bender. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Danny and Michael Bender, her mother, Wyoma Gail Bender, maternal grandparents Bill and Ann Gamble and paternal grandparents Viola and Emil Bender. Lynn graduated from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, Calif., and went on to study in the dental and radiology fields. Lynn served her country in the Air Force Reserves and National Guard. She worked several years at the Stanford Veterans Hospital and, most recently, in her specialty of mammography with San Ramon Medical Center. Lynn attended Menlo Park Presbyterian and, more recently, Unity Church of Palo Alto. She is survived by her father, Donald Bender and his wife, Marilyn, of Nixa, MO, brother Gary Bender and his wife, Garland, of San Diego, Calif., niece Sherilynn Bender Stiles and her husband, Brian, and their infant daughter Allison Grace Stiles of Wichita Falls, TX, and nephew Jonathan Bender of San Diego, Calif., and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.. A memorial service will be held at Zion Reformed Church, Lodi, Calif., on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
