Obituary of Judy Mary Romero

Judy Mary Romero, 62, of San Francisco and formerly of Lodi, died unexpectedly April 28 in San Francisco. She was born was born September 24, 1944 in Walnut Grove, Calif. Ms. Romero moved at the age of 10 with her family to Lodi, where she graduated from Lodi High School in 1961. She then attended nursing school and completed the two-year program at Stockton College. She served in the Peace Corps for two years as a nurse and then worked at Juchens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii for two years. Recently, she was employed at UCSF Medical Center Parnassus for 30 years until her recent retirement. She is survived by her brother, Donald Romero of Stockton and sister, Madeline Romero Blackwood of San Jose. There is no visitation, and committal will be private. Donations may be made to American Heart and Lung Association.
