Obituary of Norma D. Viramontes

Norma D. Viramontes of Lodi passed away in Lodi peacefully with her family and friends at her side at the age of 56 on March 24, 2006. Mrs. Viramontes was born in Mexico on May 17, 1949 to Reynaldo and Ignacia Ahumada. She moved to the United States in 1968 and settled in Lodi. Mrs. Viramontes had worked for Pacific Coast Producers for 25 years as a label machine operator. She enjoyed traveling, but her greatest passion in life was her love for her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Mrs. Viramontes is survived by her mother, Ignacia Ahumada of Mexico; husband, Lorenzo B. Viramontes of Lodi; sons, Charles W. Allbright of Lodi and George L. Viramontes of Lodi; daughter, Maria E. Viramontes of Lodi; three grandchildren, Jose J. and Carlos A. Zamora of Lodi and Trinity Allbright of Galt; four brothers, Reynaldo, Jr., Jesus, George and Alain Ahumada, all of Mexico; two sisters, Emma and Annalela Ahumada of Mexico. She was preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo Ahumada, Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Friends are invited to visit Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Committal will be private.
