Jeanne Granlees of Lockeford passed away in Lodi at the age of 61 on March 23, 2006. She was born to Jacques and Anna Sallaberry on August 5, 1944 in Clements, CA. She was raised in Lockeford. She graduated from Lodi High School in 1962, and she went on to receive her A.A. Degree from Stockton College (now Delta College). She worked at Walter J. Lucas Realty, formerly of Lockeford, earlier in her life. For the last 29 years she has worked as a Teacher's Aid for Lodi Unified School District, working at Middle School, formerly, Senior Elementary. She was very active in the fundraiser for Old Lockeford School, active in Clements-Lockeford Lions Club, and did fundraising for the American Heart Association. She spent her lifetime working, and was devoted to her family. She had been a lifetime member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Lockeford, Lockeford Grange and den mother for the cub scouts. Jeanne is survived by her son, Mike (Gina) Granlees of Lodi; two grandsons, Trevor and Chantz Granlees and significant other, Bill Christian, of Lockeford. She was preceded in death by her father, Jacques Sallaberry and mother, Anna Sallaberry in May of 2005. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church with Father Michael Kelly as celebrant. Committal will immediately follow. Friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joachim Catholic Church, 13392 Lockeford Ranch Drive, Lockeford, CA 95237.
