Nov. 28, 1920 - March 10, 2006 Ruth Griffin passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on March 10, 2006 in Stockton, CA, at the age of 85. She was a resident of Stockton for over 50 years and retired from San Joaquin General Hospital in 1979 after working there for more than 20 years. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Arnold H. Griffin and her beloved daughter LaDoska Diane Griffin. Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters Pamela Emerick of Stockton, CA, Bette Dowd of Cypress, CA and Connie Hoffman of Stockton, CA; her devoted sons, Frank Griffin of Stockton, CA and John Griffin of Lathrop, CA; She also leaves 11 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Nadine Hill and a brother, Deloyie Boone. She will be remembered lovingly for her kindness and generosity, her love for life will remain an inspiration to all of us who knew her. Friends are invited to visit at the Lodi Funeral Home, 725 S. Fairmont Ave on Thursday, March 16, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 P.M. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, March 17, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Stockton, 3535 N El Dorado St. Memorial remembrances to Hospice of San Joaquin 3888 Pacific Ave., Stockton, CA 95204 are welcomed.
