Richard James Rowley of Acampo passed away on February 16, 2006 at the age of 68. Mr. Rowley was born in Buffalo, N.Y. on March 6, 1937 to Donald and Mary Rowley. He eventually moved from Buffalo, N.Y. to Delaware and West Virginia, settling in Santa Clara in 1951. He married Donna Louise Ratzell in Santa Clara in 1963.The lived in Campbell, CA for 27 years, moving to Acampo 15 years ago. He retired from Pacific Bell after working for 36 years, in 1991. He enjoyed racing model boats, outdoor cooking, gardening and tinkering in his shop. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Donna Rowley of Acampo; daughter, Michelle Pachoud of San Diego, sons, Michael James Rowley of Reno and Donald Edward Rowley of Galt; sister, Norma Marie Smith of Rochester, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hutchison in 1990. There is no visitation, and committal is private.
