Obituary of Ignacia Macias

Mrs. Ignacia Macias of Stockton and former long time resident of Lodi passed away Sunday February 5, 2006 at her residence at the age of65. Mrs. Macias was born July 23, 1940 in Jalisco, Mexico to Juan and Isabel Gutierrez. Mrs. Macias was a homemaker and had previously for local canneries before retiring in 1996. Mrs. Macias was a member of St. Anne?s Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, tending to her garden, especially her roses and spending time with her family and friends. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by 3 sons, Alfonso Macias of Stockton; Carlos and Gregorio Macias of Mexico; 5 daughters, Veronica Tapia of Sacramento; Rosa Gonzalez, Marta Limon, Esther Zacarias and Angie Macias all of Stockton; 3 sisters, Maria Gutierrez, Juana Gamboa, Braulia Gutierrez all of Mexico; and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 22 years, Lucio Macias in 1982. A funeral mass will be held Thursday February 9, 2006, 12:00 noon at the St. Anne?s Catholic Church, followed by interment at the Lodi Memorial Park Cemetery. A rosary will be held Wednesday 6:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday 12:00-8:00 pm at the Lodi Funeral Home.
