Mrs. Sharon Rae Munoz of Lodi and former resident Stockton passed away Saturday January 28, 2006 at her residence at the age of 61. Mrs. Munoz was born August 10, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Raymond and Ruth Hench. Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse for Transitional Rehabilitating Center in Redding, California for the past 5 years as well as various hospitals in the Stockton area. She attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Stockton Class of 1962, and also received a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from University of Washington, St. Louis in 1967. She was a member of Association American University Women and Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Sharon was an avid outdoorswoman and had an artistic passion for oil painting. Sharon enjoyed camping, hiking, traveling and caring for animals. She will be best remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. He is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Bill Munoz of Lodi; 2 sons, David McKeever and companion Shauna Berry of Stockton; Danny McKeever and wife Darlene of Livermore; 3 daughters, Jennifer McKeever of Stockton; Lea Steele and husband Daniel of Clovis; Shawna Thompson and husband Rob of Lodi; 1 sister, Ingrid Powell of Stockton; 5 grandchildren, Zachary McKeever and Abigail Williams of Stockton; Grant and Dillon Thompson of Lodi; Jack Steele of Clovis. She was preceded in death by a son Darin McKeever, and 1 brother Raymond Hench. A memorial service will be held Friday February 3, 2006, 1:00 pm at the St. John the Episcopal Church in Lodi, followed by a private inurnment. Checks may be made to UCSF Foundation in memory of Sharon Munoz, for the Brain Tumor Research Center.
