Obituary of Glenn Verland Lillard

Glenn V. Lillard of Lodi passed away in Lodi at the age of 72 on December 31, 2005. Mr. Lillard was born in Norwalk, CA on September 23, 1933 to Walker and Thelma Lillard. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a millwright, working in the lumber industry for a number of years. On February 14, 1953, he married Leeola White in Whittier, CA. He lived in Southern California, primarily Corona, moving to Lodi in 1981. Mr. Lillard enjoyed fishing, baseball, sports of all kinds, but most importantly, he was devoted to his family, particularly his grandchildren. He will be so very dearly missed. He was a member of the American Legion and the Farm Bureau. He is survived by his beloved wife, Leeola Lillard of Lodi; children, Janet Diane (Jerry) Adams of Anaheim, Dennis (Kimberly) Lillard of Lincoln, Debra Ann Lillard of Moreno Valley; five grandchildren, Jeremiah, Bryana, Joshua, Jonathan and Erika; three great-grandchildren, Blake, Cody and Ethan; two brothers, Donald (Dorothy) Lillard of Rancho Mirage and David (Charlotte) Lillard of Moreno Valley and sister, Wanda (Victor) Webb of Corona. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Nathan Lillard. A chapel service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Lodi Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Napier of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Committal will immediately follow. Friends are invited to visit at Lodi Funeral Home, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial remembrances may be made the American Legion Post 22, 320 N. Washington, Lodi, CA 95240 or the American Cancer Society, 207 East Alpine Avenue, Stockton, CA 95204.
